The Huffington Post profiles Prof. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The Huffington Post profiles Prof. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., co-director of the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic, in connection with the release of a new film, The Last Mountain, that features him. According to the article, the film “examines the battle between Big Coal corporation Massey Energy against local and national environmental activists fighting Massey’s devastating practice of Mountain Top Removal in the economically and environmentally-ravaged state of West Virginia.”

Reporter Alex Simon asks Prof. Kennedy about his lifelong concern with the environment, which he shared with his father, the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy; a class conflict in the US over control of the country’s natural resources; and parallels between today’s environmental movement and the civil rights movement in the ’60s.
