On Monday and Tuesday, Prof. Michael Mushlin, a leading expert on prisons and prisoners rights, is participating in a conference titled, “40 Years After the Attica Uprising: Looking Back, Moving Forward” at the University of Buffalo Law School. He will speak on a panel titled, “Moving Forward: Prison Reform in an Era of Mass Incarceration and Fiscal Crisis,” along with Jeffrion L. Aubry (NY State Assemblyman, 35th AD of Queens County), Soffiyah Elijah (Executive Director, Correctional Association of New York), Anthony P. Farley (James Campbell Matthews Distinguished Professor of Jurisprudence, Albany Law School) and Thomas Terrizzi (prison litigation practitioner).
