Prof. Dan Estrin, supervising attorney for the Environmental Litigation Clinic, comments on court-ordered PCB clean-up

Though it has taken years of legal wrangling, the Department of Environmental Conservation, Hudson Riverkeeper and the Atlantic Richfield Co. reached an agreement on the removal of PCB-contaminated soil from the site of an factory along the Hudson River.

Students enrolled in Pace Law’s Environmental Litigation Clinic represented Riverkeeper in this significant case that details the removal of the cancer-causing industrial chemical.
