CBS New York interviewed Professor Bennett Gershman to gain his perspective on a lawsuit filed against Yeshiva University High School that claims administrators knew they were sheltering sexual predators. The suit alleges sexual abuse of students by two rabbis who were affiliated with the school but who are now retired. The story compares the Yeshiva case to similar allegations at Horace Mann and other institutions.
“It has a rippling effect,” Professor Gershman says in the video. “People see complaints are being made, lawsuits are being brought, and they feel that they want to see justice done for the wrongs that happened to them.”
