“The New York Times” published an article about steps taken by women seeking to re-enter the work force after years away and highlighted Pace Law School’s New Directions for Attorneys program. The article includes the experiences of attorneys who have completed the New Directions program, which is open to men as well as women. The writer interviewed attorneys who have gone on to find meaningful employment in the field of law.
One paragraph reads: “‘It was a tremendously successful experience for me,’ said Erica Fitzgerald, 39, of Mamaroneck, N.Y., who enrolled in the program last September. A former assistant district attorney in the Bronx, she took off 12 years to raise two sons. She is now working at Littman Krooks, a law firm in nearby White Plains.”
