Before he was appointed Dean of Pace Law School this past April, David Yassky served as Commissioner of New York City’s Taxi and Limousine Commission. WCBS radio reached out to him recently for comment on the evolving plan for the expanding the city’s fleet of “Green taxis,” the ones that serve the outer boroughs.
“It’s serving a big part of New York City that needs the service,” Yassky told WCBS 880′s Rich Lamb. “The borough taxis have brought much-needed service to the 80 percent of New York City that never had taxi service, we need more on the road.”
