ABC News asks Professor McLaughlin about delay in releasing Charlotte police video

After several nights of protests in Charlotte, North Carolina following the shooting of a citizen by a Charlotte police officer, ABC News spoke with Professor Randolph McLaughlin, a civil rights lawyer. A significant point driving the protests was the refusal of the Charlotte Police Department to release their videotape of the killing of Keith Lamont Scott.

“What we’ve seen in too many situations now is that the videos tell the truth and the police who were involved in the shooting tell lies,”Professor McLaughlin is quoted as saying.
